【ガンマン医師】
ホラー風のタイトルなのに、明るいカントリーソングで始まる。
ひとつの物語として面白いのですが、テーマについて考えると、実はこの歌が全てなのかなと。
冒頭の続きが最後に歌われるのですが、その部分はまさに主人公のこと。

他にもバージョンはあるかも知れませんが、映画内の最後の歌詞は上記の通り。
The hanging treeは死と再生のシンボル。
The tree of goldは…、根元から倒れましたね😅
RuneとElizabethはFrailに命を助けられ、
Frailは彼らによって救われる。
Frailは医師でありながら、気に入らない奴には躊躇うことなく銃をぶっ放す。急所を外して後で助ける…なんてことはない😅
Elizabethはまだ見えない時に難なくランプに火を灯せたり(部屋を明るくする必要もない)、「家宝」を治療費に充てることは考えなかったりと訳が分からないけれど、美人はセクハラや同性の嫉妬に苦しみますね。
ラブラブのエンディングでRune君の居場所がない…と思いましたが、いやいや、やさぐれた不良が好青年に変わりましたよ。Elizabethの弟か養子にでもなってちょうだい。
