This film inspired one of the scenes in "The Death & Life of John F. Donovan" directed by Xavier Dolan, which is the reason I felt the need to watch this film. The story was basically realistic, low-key, and sort of hopeless, but because of that, I could feel the beauty of having sincere feelings for someone.
