I thought the first Neighbors movie was pretty funny. But it seemed weird that out of all the movies Seth Rogen has made, this is the sequel he chooses to make.
But turns out this movie is actually funny and better than most comedy sequels.
(Hangover 2, Zoolander 2....ugh)
The bummer is Chloe Grace Moretz who I really liked since Kick-Ass, wasn't all that funny. I liked her character but didn't make me laugh.
Most of the comedy comes from Seth Rogen and Zac Efron who has fantastic comedic timing, and his character arc was great too. It's almost as great as Channing Tatum in 21 Jump Street.
As a guy living in Japan, I couldn't relate to the whole fraternity / sorority party aspect but really funny movie.
