kinda short but great season! loved how all the mysteries unraveled and there's still more to uncover in s3! was gonna start watching it asap but I got sidetracked bitching about work and how stupid joey is for a hot minute and hopped on a call with the fam after and now I feel a lot better now that my thoughts are out for random japanese ppl to stumble across! sorry random people! but I needed an outlet! I'll start watching s3 it right after I finish writing this!
anyway wei wuxian is such a compelling character! the whole dark arts/morality dilemma reminds me of Harry potter fanfiction ngl lol which i dig! I love me a good morally grey/dark Harry au! really wish wei and wangji's relationship was more overtly explored but oh well, it's honestly fine as it is I feel! the part with the nice guy from the wen clan was so sad :((( like bro did not deserve to be used like that :'( and ugh all the bad stuff wei did was mostly due to miscommunication/accidents 😭 like bro was a good guy! questionable methods but his heart was in the right place! I do love me a good misunderstood dark character :'D very excited to see how the rest of the story plays out! I read that the original novel ends with wei and wangji getting married?? idk how much they'll show in the anime but idk it's canon so slay! 🏳🌈
