this show was magical what the hell
like it got me actually invested in rakugo
that's crazy
anyway this had such a great character driven story! ugh the drama! the dynamics! the feels! peak fiction!
ngl the first ep being literally movie length freaked me out a bit and I kinda put it aside to go on my little Chinese anime sidequest bc of that, but that first ep flew by so damn quickly! it was that compelling! and that full on rakugo scene in that episode was actually funny like wtf I didn't know i could understand japanese that well 🤯 the only time I'd ever listened to rakugo before this was when this one dude came to our junior high school and performed but I was like huh the whole time bc i did not understand what bro was saying or like what the jokes meant lol, same with manzai and konto too back in the day... good times lmao jk it was the worst time of my life in a lot of aspects, had good friends tho :') but I'm so glad I'm not in school anymore, I love being employed and getting paid to just not work out of spite and read fanfic all day 😌 dang I'm getting hella sleepy. anyway! night! oh the deaths of the main two was really anticlimactic but also it makes sense in that context that kiri whatever was so cagey about what happened actually. I love Hayashibara megumi's voice now too, it's literally dripping with sex appeal, idk about the rest of the show tho I just watched the first ones
