オープニングのテーマ曲からして、「哲学的で質の高い私の好きな作風っぽいな」というオーラが満載で、まさに思った通りの作品でした。頭を使わないと到底理解できないけれど、ジョナサン・ノーラン特有のその難しさが私にはとても心地良かったです。「え、あの人、実はそうなの!?」っていう展開がたくさんあって、追いつくのに必死でした。あと、最初のほうの何気ない映像が、後々の展開で「そういうことか！」となるので、とにかく目を見開いて見ることをおすすめします。
よく、オカルトチックな話で、人間は神ではなく宇宙人に創られたという話があります。私自信、信じているか信じていないかは別にして、もしそれが事実だとしたら、私たちはこの作品のホスト側(ロボット)で、実はゲスト(宇宙人)に操られているのかも…とふと思いました。そういう視点でこの作品を見てみると、ちょっと恐そうだけど、別の意味で面白いかも。
シーズン2も見たいな！と思うのですが、将軍ワールドの評判が低いので、見るのをためらいます…でも、今年の春にシーズン4の制作が決まったらしいし、がんばってシーズン2を見ようかな…(今年いっぱいでAmazon Primeでの配信が終わってしまうから、急いで見ないと)
