“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”, the sequel to the previous Fantastic Beasts film and the prequel to the Harry Potter franchise, directed by David Yates. I grew up with Happy Potter and saw each film at theatres except the Philosopher’s Stone since I was a baby at that time and of course have seen all of them over and over and over again including the first Fantastic Beats movie which was great, whereas I really got disappointed with the movie that I saw yesterday with mates who also had the same opinions as I do. One of the biggest issues in the movie was there were so many things happening at that same time so fast that we kinda struggled to catch up with the story line despite the number of characters which appear and have their own issues which we also have to keep remembering. I really don’t understand the point in making the fantasy movie which is for every generation so complicated with so much stuff and we didn’t have that sort of enjoyment like we did in Harry Potter movies. I can only say it’s just a visually beautiful film like creatures and their magic with a lack of interesting plot. But when it comes to their performances, they were awesome especially, needless to say, Eddie Redmayne and also Jude Law who played young Albus Dumbledore. While Johnny Depp as a villain doesn’t really show up on screen though he was qualified to steal more scenes coz of the title which has its name...but the only scene that he actually shows up and speaks some dialogues was probably the final part of the movie, which was also visually great. I really wonder if I should recommend the movie to people or not coz particularly those who are gigantic fans of Harry Potter both books and movies will probably get more disappointed in it that I did coz I’ve only seen movies without reading the books. Anyway this movie is the worst of all Harry Potter films in my opinion. Thanks #fantasticbeaststhecrimesofgrindelwald #jkrowling #harrypotter #eddieredmayne #johnnydepp #judelaw #moviereview
