If you thought this franchise couldn't get any worse, especially after the last one, you were wrong.
Michael Bay and Paramount have run this series to the ground, and this 5th installment is like a final nail in the coffin.
The Last Knight is exactly what you think it's gonna be. It's a blowed mess with no story, terrible comedy that never seems to stop, and even worse dialogue that really is just condescending the audience.
You would think the action is good, but the action is mainly human based which undermines the plot of the Autobots. And because of that, you're just as bored as when there isn't any action on screen.
By the time the Optimus vs. Bumblebee scene happens, you're mentally done with the movie to even care.
If you want a pattern, here it is.
Terrible comedy ➡︎ boring action with no Transforming ︎︎➡︎more terrible comedy ➡︎ more boring action ➡︎ terrible cliched cringing unfunny comedy ➡︎ Optimus vs. Bumblebee (about 2hrs 10mins in)
If you can sit through 2hrs to get to one cool scene, the power is yours. Otherwise, don't go see this movie so we could finally kill this franchise that overstayed its welcome.
