Biggest surprise at the end of the year! I loved this movie.
It's not about the fights, it's about the drama behind the characters. And this movie understood that.
Michael B. Jordan both physically and acting wise, was brilliant. I really bought that he was just a kid who wanted to make it on his own without relying on his family name.
Sylvester Stallone was GREAT. The way he acted and how his character was written made him all the more interesting. Especially when we've got 6 films starring Rocky, it felt like we get to follow his life along with him.
The soundtrack was awesome too.
This is the kind of movie that Southpaw should have been. Emotional and brutal at the same time.
