Guy Ritchie's back!! And this time he inputs his quick cut editing style that he's known for into this epic. Which interjected a lot of Edgar Wright-like comedy and changed this movie from being a generic medical movie.
Charlie Hunnam! Huge fan of this guy's work. Finally he gets to show off his charisma in this movie. This man is a charming leader type guy and it was interesting to see his story progress. There are a lot of leadership lessons that certainly you can take away from.
However what really surprised me about this movie was the team aspect of it. Arthur in spite of his sword power, needed a team to get the mission done. Him and his crew running around the slums was really fun to watch. It turns into Sons of Anarchy at one point too....
The action scenes also, are really well done. Towards the end, it does become a little video game-esque but it was fun to watch. It's basically a King Arthur superhero movie.
But it was refreshing to see a movie like this that's not like the other blockbusters out there now.
