"Collateral Beauty" is a very underrated American drama film directed by David Frankel and stars Will Smith, who plays a very frustrated man having no idea of the meaning of life after the tragic death of his beloved daughter. He sometimes sends some letters to things, not to people. Discovering that the "things" are actually "Love", "Time", and "Death", his co-workers start getting worried about his mentality. To bring back his mental health and prevent his company from bankruptcy that would occur due to his erratic behaviour, they strike up making a strategy to help him out of depression with help of some actors who are to pretend to be each thing, which might make him reconsider the meaning of life even after the bombshell.
The director previously made a film called "The Devil Wears Prada", which was really good for me and also made me curious about Collateral Beauty. I like the atmosphere of the both films, which makes the films like very dramatic and romantic. It's not really like a tearjerker but gives us courage and has us whether we are doing a meaningful thing in our lives. Hope I will have a collateral beauty.
