This movie was made for Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds to be in it. Their chemistry is spot on!!
Jackson's probably tops the use of his trademark "motherf*cker" in all of his movies combined.
Ryan Reynolds plays typical Ryan Reynolds who once again gets slapped around by an actor more powerful than he is. (Safe House with Denzel🙊)
Their banter was the best part of the movie. But just about everything else pretty much falls flat. The plot is generic and predictable. It seems like one of those movies where they wrote the movie around the actors.
Whenever either of them aren't on screen, this movie plays out like a straight-to-DVD movie you'd see in your local TSUTAYA.
The action scenes are okay. They aren't too rapidly edited to the point where you can't see what's happening. But it's okay.
That's the best way I can describe this movie. It's okay. You can have fun with this on a rainy day. ☔️ Tune into Netflix and watch this!!
