Speechless. I think this is the best movie I've watched in 2016 and it might be a masterpiece this year. This was directed by Mel Gibson(welcome back Gibson!) and his brand new war story. It's based on a true story that is about Desmond Doss who saved 75 American armies in Okinawa, Japan, during the most shocking and the bloodiest battle of WWⅡ, without carrying any weapons, never fired a bullet. It was too hard to see some of bloody scenes but it was such a touching and an amazing story, also unpretentious and much more realistic than the other his war movies. And Andrew Garfield gave a superb performance which couldn't be faulted. It was reminiscent of the movie "Nobi" which was filmed by Japanese film maker Shinya Tsukamoto. All what I want to say is... just watch this.
