オスカー8部門ノミネートの良さは分からなかった。
叙情的な作品。心を隠して鎧をかぶった主人公の末路が哀しい。

This is powerful stuff, it sneaks up on you and it hits you hard, it has one of the best endings I've seen in a long time (maybe since Whiplash)

Beautifully shot with some amazing colors ...

...great performances by EVERYBODY but I have to give a special shout out to 1st and especially 3rd Chiron (Trevante Rhodes), as well as Mahershala Ali -- so much emotion with so little acting

near damn perfect

音楽と脚本と、繰り返されるカメラワーク。構成もよい。全体的に重苦しいけど、彼はけっきょく変わらず彼らしいところが愛おしくなる。

成長しても人間としての根っこの部分は変わらない。
外見は全く違う3人の役者が、同じ人物に感じられる、彼らの演技力に脱帽。

ただ、揺れる系のカメラワークが、体調不良の身にはきつかった。
調子がいい時にもう一度みたい。字幕付きで。

It's been a while since I've seen a movie so raw with the emotion that it presents, and so real. How growing up can be extremely difficult in an urban harsh environment.

This movie is divided into 3 acts of the main character Chiron's life. First as a child, then as a teen, and him as a adult. He's a very shy person that starts to discover himself that he doesn't understand.

Because of this it is really hard for him to make friends and this movie unfolds.

All the actors that play Chiron are amazing. There performances combine to make one great character. With mostly minimal dialogue, they convey much heart needed for this person to become alive on screen.

This is an all black cast. Something that is very refreshing to see. It really helps to create the harsh urban environment that these people live in.

Towards the end, the conversations between the characters become so heartfelt and real that it really made me love this movie more.

The direction that Barry Jenkins took was excellent. This is the type of movie that you don't get to see a lot these days. It is reminiscent to the movie Boyhood. But took the material to the next level.

Hopefully this one takes home the Oscar! We'll see.

映像、音楽が綺麗。予告編やポスターの美しい感覚が、映画本編でも終始感じられていました。

アメリカの中でも特に治安が悪い地域が舞台で、主人公が置かれた状況や彼がゲイであること(恐らく特にほぼ黒人だけの社会では生きづらいことなのだと思う)で色んな辛さや葛藤を経験していきます。

主人公は比較的言葉数が少ないのに表情に物哀しさや無表情の中にも感情が溢れ出てきそうな所にグッと来るものがありました。子供、青年、大人時代と違う人が演じていましたが、見た目が大きく成長していても、主人公の本質的な部分は3人とも「ちゃんと同じ人だ」と思わせる位演じられていました。

美しく撮っている映画って、全部美しくしようって感じで演技とか演出がクドくなるものが多いのはですが、この映画は映像と音楽の美しさと役者の自然な演技、演出のバランスが絶妙でした！

シンプルで力強い脚本と美しい映像、印象的な演技。
なるほどアカデミー賞本命も納得の良作。
だが、暗い。

||劇場|| 今までで一番聴き取れない英語( ；∀；) タイ語字幕で何となく補えたけど、解釈間違ってたら残念。

ⅰ. Little ⅱ. Charon ⅲ. Black の三部構成。
ⅰとⅱの少年時代。心を預けられる人を見つけた途端に、その人の所為で自分の境遇が悪くなっていることを実感してしまう。何言ってるか解らなくても、彼が幸せでない事だけは痛いほど伝わる。

ⅲでいきなり大幅な変化が(笑) 誰⁈(笑)
外見と内面の変化の描写。
少年時代とは違って、大人シャロンはある一日だけを描く。電話の後のケヴィンのイメージ映像で、ああ そう言うことね…と解るけれど、結局本質はそのままやないかい！って言うのが逆に切ない(´；ω；`)

子役(ポスター左)の目力にヤラれます。
結構酷い話だけど、後味爽やかめかな？

成長し外見は変わったはずなのに、彼が想う人に再開してすぐ、彼の眼と纏う空気は昔に戻っていた

最近チェロとかヴィオラで強めのロマン派風の音楽多いなー
１つ１つのシーンに対しての音楽は良いけど、全体でみるとぶつ切り感がある。

たぶん英語聞き取れないだろうなと知りながら気になって見てしまった。
かなりsensitiveな内容だけど、意外とドライというかネッチャリしてないのが好印象
