“The Lion King (2019)” - Movie Review

[日本語] アイアンマンの秘書役のJohn Favreauによってリメイクされた1994年大ヒットのDisney映画ライオンキング。VR/ARといった最新の技術を使用し まるで動物のドキュメンタリーを見てるかんじ。顔の表情をもっと豊かにはできたと思うけれど…anyway おそらく視聴効果部門でのアカデミー賞ノミネートは確実であろう。しかし、ストーリーはオリジナルと全く同じであり しかもセリフもほぼ同じ (何度かつぎのセリフを当てることができた)。20分程度長くはなってるが オリジナリティが欠けすぎてる…アニメーション版を見たことない人にとっては、映画館で見る価値はあるとおもう。最近Disney会社は昔のアニメーション作品をリメイクすることにより 著作権を何年もたっても保ちつづけることもできるし お金もはいる…映画をつくるポイントではないと思う in my opinion.
[ENG] John Favreau’s remake of the 1994’s Lion King, utilising so many cutting-edge visual technologies: VR/AR to make it as real as possible. The visual was over the top and mind blowing, maybe gaining the possibility of winning an Oscar for that, though facial expressions could’ve been shown better. However, the story, as critics also have mentioned, lacked the originality, hence almost the exact same as the original including dialogues from the very beginning regardless of added 20mins. So for those who haven’t seen the original yet it should be more worthwhile to see the live action. It appears Disney keeps milking cash and preventing the expiration of its copyright by remaking classic animations...It’s not the point in making movies in my opinion. #thelionking #2019 #ライオンキング #johnfavreau #moviereview #映画レビュー
