A grandchild of a millionaire was kidnapped in Italy.
The people who took him thought that he was an easy target to get ransom because everyone knows his grandpa is the richest person in the world.
However, whatever the reason for the family, especially the grandpa didn't want to give the ransom the main reason why was because he was so meanness.
In the end, he decided to pay the ransom until then, I got the feeling of frustration. On the other hand, I understand at some point of his reason why not to pay. It's not the reason because of his meanness but Paul is not only his grandchildren. Meaning that if he agreed to pay as soon as he got the news, it could put the other grandchildren in danger. Only this point, I think he got a point.
Reality is more interesting than fiction. I totally agree but it's because this really happened, any stories based on true events are unable to go far from it.
