“Unfriended: Dark Web”, the sequel to one of the very underrated supernatural horror films “Unfriended”released in 2015. I really enjoyed the first one and thought it was a really interesting idea to make a horror film by shooting from the point of view of computer screens. However, I was kinda let down by this sequel. Everything starts from the guy who steals someone’s laptop that contains some terrible videos of people getting killed. Unlike the first one, no one but him has something to do with that problem but they all get involved in that inhumane game online so basically it’s all of his fault...but he just stole the laptop not like bullying people or causing someone to kill him/herself like they did in the first one. Having said that, I was finding the plot slightly ridiculous coz i did see no point in its storyline unfortunately. Moreover, what happens in this movie was a bit predictable maybe coz of the first one where each mate starts dying or I might have just seen this sort of things in some movie before even thought it was not like this type of movie. Although i liked the simplicity of how the movie starts, the way it expands was not what I actually hoped for...so if there’s this sort of horror films combined with modern tools like SNS I really hope it’s going to be special in some ways :-) Thanks for reading my review! #unfriendeddarkweb #horrormovies #2018movies #moviereview #showgobond
