Parasite - Movie Review

・[日本語] とてもすばらしい…ポン・ジュノ(代表作:殺人の追憶、グエムル、スノーピアサー、オクジャなど)の韓国映画。彼は今ではあまりない実の“映画”というものを届けてくれる。そしてこのパラサイトもかなり最高の例である。社会問題をテーマにし、ユニークな形で物語を広げていく。さらにユーモアもちょうど良い。
この映画では、富豪家族と貧困家族のコントラストの強調のしかたや、表し方がかなり重要な点であって、それらがすばらしい撮影方法、編集、セットデザインを通し、完璧に伝わってきた。そして俳優たちの演技も、はじめは富豪家族の生活環境を見て驚くという感情から、嫉妬となっていく感情変化がとてもうまく示されていた。
最初の1時間は、物事がスムーズに進んでいき、しかも笑ってしまう部分もたくさん。しかし後半の1時間は、物事が急激にかわりスリル満点、予想不可能な方向へと進んでいく。ぜったいに見てほしい映画である。
•[ENG] Just terrific...terrific!!! Dir. Bong Joon-ho perfectly knows how to contribute to Cinema. In other words, he makes “true” films. Parasite is a great example of true cinema that tells such a unique story dealing with social issues with great humour.
In this film, the contrast between these two families is such a big deal to be emphasised and expressed well for its very theme and it, after all, manifests itself through wonderful cinematography and performances which also give off an emotional shift from surprise at their wealthy life to jealousy.
In the first one hour things go smoothly and it’s quite funny to see but the other half time extremely turns things around, making it rivetingly thrilling. The film starts moving on in an unexpected way. It never fails to keep us entertained.
