I watched a documentary film about politics in Brazil called Impeachment on Netflix.
First, a man named Lula rose up from the laboring class to become president. He rescued the poor from their predicament, so the economy improved. He had excellent abilities and earned 87% of the public's approval.
Next, Dilma was the first woman to assume the role of president in Brazil. However, a judge named Moro leaked something to the mass media and they impeached her without a clear reason. The media practically went hysterical. Moro also plotted to arrest Lula before the election.
In the end, people only had a single choice in the election, so Bolsonaro became president. One family group ruled over the bank, the media, and the country. In short, the people won back their democracy once, but now a dictator is ruling Brazil.
Embarrassing as it is to say, I didn’t know what was happening in Brazil.

そして選挙で選択肢が一つしかなくなり、Bolsonaro現大統領が就任。一つの家族グループが、銀行、メディア、そして国を支配するようになったのです。つまり、一度は民主主義を得たのに今や独裁者がブラジルの政治をしている。
