A grounded, soulful, celebratory comedy about three mothers and their adult sons. The film explores the stage after motherhood, Otherhood, when you have to redefine your relationship with your children, friends, spouse, and most importantly, yourself.
I would like mothers and sons to watch this movie because it would remind you something important about relationships between mothers and sons. Of course not only for them.
When people get at some point, we look back on what we have done and think if our life was a happy one or not. In this case, it was the mothers who looked back and rethink their lives but everyone has that point in our life. This movie gets me thinking about mine. I think mostly for mothers, this would be a perfect movie.
