fun! I feel like the story lines weren't as good as the previous seasons and there were some characters that I really didn't care about but overall it was still pretty hype!
I liked everything going on in the save eri arc except eri lol like she's just a loli macguffin/damsel in distress and like idk I wasn't convinced that she was actually tortured yknow lol. I mean I get it, kids watch this show and it's not meant to be like a hardcore gore fest and it's not like I'm dying to see a kid get tortured lmao but still it felt a lil too tame for me to like actually be invested in her story arc. also her and overhaul and nighteye to an extent (rest in peace my dude) all had hella op powers that kinda made it seem like anything could be rewinded/solved with their powers which was like ehhh okay that's gonna be tricky to explain your way out of just using them to fix everything lol. also overhaul was a lil underwhelming considering he's voiced by tsuda kenjirou 😔 his voice was delicious tho 😛
also the gentle criminal/la brava stuff was ass, like that's some ロケット団 levels of stupid conniving and mustache-twirling shenanigans. and it came right after this super serious ish arc where a dude actually died but also they were like villains for this one small arc and just wanted to attacked a high school bunkasai? like what the fuck? and la brava's one of the most poorly written excuses for a character I've ever had the displeasure of directing any of my attention towards. like gentle criminal, I feel a little sympathetic towards at least bc bro was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and he's kinda like a deku what-if scenario a bit, but my god wtf was horikoshi thinking with la brava. weird ahh character 💀
I did like the bunkasai prep stuff tho! my girl jiro! I stan a fellow bass player!!! ngl the music they played was kinda cheesy but hey jiro's voice slapped! and that scene where bakugo plays drums for the first time in front of the gang had me dying lol also the 1b play was fucking hilarious, I unironically love monoma neito and how unhinged he is lol
speaking of new characters I really like tamaki!! bro is me fr! anxious and insecure! :D I thought mirio looked hella jank for a while, like a swole tintin, and he still does but I guess i got used to it lmao. and tamaki's like head over heels for him which is adorable lol
oh and hawks finally toujyoued! bro literally just sounds like gojo I can't unhear it and it doesn't help that they're both young arrogant charismatic op dudes lol. um what else. endeavor's fight went hard at the end, like slay. I mean, u were horrible enough to your wife that you made her insane/traumatized enough that she'd throw a boiling kettle at her kid bc he looked too much like you, but you're a better person now and everybody makes mistakes everybody has those days so forgive and forget amirite? :D so slay! go off child abuser! :D but yeah they really tried hard to make endeavor redeemable which is like yikes... kinda questionable... but I mean honestly? the sakuga was fire and this means more todoroki fam drama (omg just remembered the dabi foreshadowing asfksjshfk) so I ain't complaining!
this is getting so long lol but finally deku's got them dawgs in him! the 8 for alls! it's getting me lowkey hyped for the next season but hugo said it's boring as shit and the Mal score is kinda low so idk lol I'll be cautiously optimistic but I'm ready to face disappointment so I won't have to worry about getting spoiled by fanfic 🤩👍
also I forgot to mention, aizawa with his hair pulled back is hot, shouto interacting with those kids and being autistic as fuck was hilarious, and as always, fuck mineta and casual sexism! 😀
