overall i think this season was just OK .. but the first episode was amazing !! the transition from ten to eleven was much smoother than nine to ten . amelia and eleven were so cute, loved them in the first episode !!
the big finale was a bit underwhelming but still fun . interested to see where river’s character will go .
one complaint i have though, is zero references to the prior regeneration . no mentions of past companions or events ? i get that its not easy after recast, but its still jarring .
i love that rory and amy are travelling with the doctor as a couple, refreshing to see . haven’t watched DW pre-modern so i can’t really say, but i enjoy the doctor having a slightly different personally with each regeneration . eleven is still silly (comparing with ten) but much more alien, not understanding human social skills .
excited for the next season !
