I have no negative feelings towards this film. As a Jamaican, this hit hard to me in a positive sense, on different levels. I love how they included Muta Baruka as the gate man. I love the depiction of HIM on the horse, which I first thought he was the white man, his father, in the sugar cane fields on fire. I love how they highlighted Mama Rita, because if there was no Rita, there was no Bob Marley. I’m sure there was more scenes to the film that they had to cut out, but overall it was well made. Production made a lot of people fed in Jamaica, and I hope it will continue to nourish the beautiful island and keep the integrity of the culture and history. This film is more than a Bob Marley Movie, if you know what I mean…
