めちゃ良かった
- 死後の世界をあんなにハッキリ描くのが(いい意味で)驚きだった
- 最初家族の絆の映画かと思いきや、少しづつ父のサイコパス具合がエスカレートしていって怖かった。それに伴い息子たちの体力・心の限界もじわじわと近づき、心が痛んだ
- The curse was daddy all along
- Kevin was the only one that prioritized the happiness and safety of his family, even more than the dad (which is messed up). Seeing his family fall apart must’ve been heart wrenching. (それで立ち直って家族築けたの本当すごいわ)
- there were strong parallels with the themes in whiplash - the dangers (and benefits) of playing god, striving for legendary status. Only this time it was executed more subtly and with passive but manipulative behavior from pops
- 兄弟の間で嬉しいことがある時に、父が離れるまで喜ばないところが上手い表現だと思った。兄弟たちのストイックさと父がどのような人物だったかが伝わる
- 最後 bittersweet だけど希望に満ち溢れていて安心できた。I used to be a brother は泣けた
