Marge is a very impressive character of the movie, Fargo. She appears in the middle of the movie. She is a very important person in this movie because she is very objective about this case.
Most of the characters are emotional for example, Jerry makes kidnapping plan to get a lot of money for himself and Carl and Gaear help his plan ,too. They don't care about others they do such a bad things only for self-interest. However Marge said "I'm just doing my job here" that's means that she is polite. She is a pregnant and her husband's work doesn't seem to be goings well but she never bring her personality to her job so she just investigates the case. Not only at work, but also when she talks to Mike and other cops, she never feels emotional and seems to treat everyone equally.
The first time I saw this movie, Jerry is illustrated mainly in this movie but after watching the end I think that Marge is. This terrible case caused by desire of a few characters so I wonder who to sympathize with but Marge is always objective. In the last scene Marge is lying down next to her husband and talking. That's daily life of a good couple. This is the only peaceful scene of this movie.
