すごく前にコヴェナントを見た以来のエイリアンで、かなり忘れている部分もあったのですが、それでも目劣りしない美しいCG技術でした。リドリー・スコットのホラーと宇宙は一級品だと思います。今作は古いエイリアンのエピローグとして、なぜエイリアンは生まれたのか？また、人類の大きな謎である、他生物との圧倒的な知能はどのようにしてもたらされたのか？などの非常にテーマとしても興味深い内容になっています。ただ、映画後半より、先の内容にあまり触れられなくなり、単なるアクション映画になってしまったのは、若干残念でした。
It’s been a long time since I watched Covenant. Therefore, I forgot many parts of the Alien’s story, but computer graphics were beautiful. The horror and sci-fi films that Ridley Scott directs are blue chips.
This film explores how an alien was born and delves into one of the most mysterious aspects of humanity: why we have far better knowledge than any other species. Thematically speaking, it was also worth watching. However, in the latter part, it didn’t really focus on the interesting theme, and turned out to be a mediocre action movie. That was a bit disappointing to be honest/ I must say.
