1996年のレーベル設立以来、Peanut Butter Wolfのオリジナルでユニークな感性で、MadlibからBreakestra、Yesterday’s New Quintet、J Dilla、Mayer Hawthorne、Arrow Black、DāM FunKといった多彩でフレッシュな才能を輩出してきた西海岸が誇るインディレーベル〈Stones Throw Records〉。
上記アーティストはもちろんのこと、Kanye West、Common、?uestlove（The Roots） 、Talib Kweli、Mike D（Beastie Boys）、Snoop Dogg、またTyler, The Creator、Flying Lotus、Geoff Barrow（Portishead）、A-Trakなど、レーベルの枠を超えた超豪華アーティスト達が出演。エクスクルーシブ・インタビュー等秘蔵映像が満載。
レーベルの歴史や背景、カルチャーをライブ映像、未公開秘蔵映像等で綴り、インディレーベルがグローバルに展開する理想のカタチを見事に表現した初のドキュメンタリー映画。
