For a brief moment, Tomb Raider may successfully convince you to thinking that its finally going to break the curse, transcending above its video game-movie brethren. Alas, you will realize visually recreating scenes from the already successfully source material is not how great movies are made. Thoroughly hollow and uninspired, you are better off playing the game or wishing the next video game adaptation a very sardonic “good luck!”
