人生の大半を刑務所で過ごした主人公。身よりもなければ、お金もない。ただの無力な男。社会を生きるうえで欠かせない法律は、時には救い、時には冷たくあしらう。服役していたというレッテルで、人は白い目で見る。こんな人生送るぐらいなら、刑務所のほうが、いいんじゃないか......。
小さな幸せで、人生の見え方は180度変わる。それを教えてくれる。恐ろしいほどの傑作だった。

The law, an essential part of living in society, sometimes saves him and sometimes coldly dismisses him. People look at him with a white eye because of the label of having been in prison. If you'd rather live your life like this, prison is a better place to be. ......
