まず、最初に短編集の一編をここまで大きくできるなんて、濱口監督の凄さに驚愕した。
村上作品はどこか独特で、それが中毒性のある面白さがあるがゆえに、世界中から愛されている。その独特性がもろに出ている感じが、見ていて感じられた。村上作品を実写化するうえで、それを以下に表現できるかが、映画の評価にも関わる大事なファクターだ、と私は思っています。
伝えたいメッセージは、ただ一つ（映画を見たらおわかりになります）。そこまでにたどり着くための道中での心情のゆらめきが、繊細に描かれていた。見ていて映画の中に沈む感じがした。
ドライブマイカーだけに、車でのやり取りは格別に最高です。

Murakami's films are somehow unique, and because they are addictive and interesting, they are loved all over the world. I felt that this uniqueness came out in the film. In my opinion, an important factor in the live-action adaptation of Murakami's works is how it is expressed below, which also affects the film's reputation.

Only in Drive My Car, the interactions in the car are exceptionally great.
