Detect crimes visually occurring in near future to prevent from actually happening. Seems kind of possible in real life in future. Classic SF settings such as time machines and stuff that are impossible at this point don’t appear in this film which makes it more realistic.
There’s surprises as the stories progress including the last scene. Amazed me that Tom Cruise can act as many different roles.
Only thing is that the film is a bit old so the designs of gadgets and vehicles doesn’t look futuristic.
近未来の設定でこれから起きる犯罪を検知し映像化して事前に防ぐという技術はリアルにその内実現出来そうな気がしますね。逆にSF映画で良く出てくるタイムマシンとか現時点ではあり得ない様な物は出てこないのでSFだけど設定に少し親近感を覚えました。
ストーリーが進むにつれて予想を裏切られて最後のどんでん返しも良かったです。トムクルーズは色々な役を演じられてすごいです
ただ、だいぶ前の映画なので今観るとガジェットや乗り物がデザイン的に未来感を余り感じられないかも知れません。
