Ahhh it’s been a while since I saw this movie. Forgot how good it was.
The movie was written by Chazz Palminteri and is the directorial debut of Robert de Niro.
Its a great story about a kid getting basically raised by a hard working father and a maffia guy.
It shows how easily young kids are drawn to the gangster life where a lot of money can be made.
Chazz Palminteri is a great bad guy but he takes Calogero under his wings and shields him from the evil side of the maffia which makes him hard to hate.
Personally I think calogero was a casting mistake. He had such an emotionless face.
Other than that I think it was a great story.

話はパルミンテリさんに書かれて、デ・ニロさんの監督デビューでした。
ある少年は真面目なお父さんとマフィアのボスの二人に育たれてるのいい話です。
ちゃんと育てない若者は簡単に暴力とお金の誘惑に負ける。
パルミンテリさんはマフィンのボスとしてカロジェロ君をちゃんと守ったりして、育ったりするから優しい悪役のイメージになりますね。嫌いなキャラにならない。
ただ、個人的に大人のカロジェロの俳優はキャスティングミスだと思います。なんか、顔はのっぺらぼうだしエモーション全然なかった。
これ以外良い映画だと思ってた。
