"To the Bone" was directed by Marti Noxon and stars Lily Collins as a patient who struggles with anorexia and Keanu Reeves as her doctor. Joining his impatient program, she moves into the house with six other patients that include five women and one man named Luke, who is near recovery on both his anorexia and a knee injury and somehow seems to take a special interest in her. Although she promises to try to do better to live longer, she can hardly help herself hanging up on losing weight...
This is one of the Netflix's original films that I actually don't really see for no reasons, but I wanted to try to watch something new at home free of charge like not going to the movies and then I chose this one just because one of my favourite American movie buffs recently reviewed it on the Internet. By its film poster with her turning her head away and its kinda intriguing title To the Bone, I could expect what this film tried to tell us through this girl suffering from anorexia without reading its synopsis first. As far as I remember, I have not really seen that many this kind of films before so it was a right choice for me to see it and I felt that this is very important for anyone to learn about those patients suffering through eating. Hope it will come out at theatres too for those who don't use Netflix.
