Watched it on day one when it first came out. With my sister, we were crying from the beginning. I felt all the emotions building up gradually and question what it is that the world is moving towards after war. Since it was the first movie that had a big portion devoted to war from Japanese perspective, it struck me. What responsibilities does my generation hold for the future?
