"Patriots Day" was directed by Peter Berg and stars Mark Wahlberg.
As most people may know, this film is based on a true terrorism that occurred on April 15, 2013 during the Boston Marathon in which two bombs explode and unfortunately kill several people who were there including a kid. Afterwards, police Sgt. Tommy Saunders played by Mark Wahlberg investigates the issue with the help of courageous survivors, first responders, and other investigators trying to find the terrorists and bring them to justice.
Although I vividly remember this big issue that happened almost 4 years ago when I was still in high school, I didn't know that background of this such as the way the investigators tracked down those two young terrorists with only some blurred and ambiguous traits of theirs and also the way the terrorists ran away hiding themselves from civilians. Those sort of stuff might have been broadcast at that time however, don't think as clearly as in the movie. Most people might have already known how this matter was solved, but it's very worth watching and learning things that were only depicted in the movie.
