So much better than i expected. The movie got intense as the story progressed but it took me a while to really get into it.
I was surprised that a lot of the casts spoke good english but kikuchi rinko was the only one who stood out as a unique character.
I didnt think it was based on a true story and the ending was so jap. I thought it'd be better if there was a cut of swinging katana at the very end.
The VFX seemed like it was trying to copy some of those lord of the rings world but mhm.
And the last fighting scene had a good ease-in yet there weren't much strugglings in order to defeat the enemies so that went too smooth.
But overall i liked the movie and how keanu reeves was the only non-jap. I think it was a new challenge in the movie industry; felt like no other.:]]
