This time, Captain Jack Sparrow is going to sail seek the Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that grants its possessor total control over the seas.
He got new allies, Henry who is Will's son and Carina who has a diary that has a clue to find the Trident of Poseidon.
Jack is pursued by an old nemesis, Armando Salazar, who has escaped from the Devil's Triangle and is determined to kill every pirate at sea especially Jack. The reason why he's been obsessed with wanting to kill Jack is an event that happened between them back to the past.
Henry wants to get his father Will back from Flying Dutchman.
Carina wants to believe her father that she doesn't even know.
Laughs, sentimentalities, and loves.

Some point, it reminded me a movie named Fast Five (ワイルドスピードMega Max). You'll know what I mean.
Captain Hector Barbossa is one of the key person of the movie (at least for me).
