"Going in Style(2017)" was directed by Zach Braff and stars Morgan Freeman, Michael Kane, and Alan Arkin as three old as well as very broke men who cannot even afford to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones due to the bank that is going to restructure their pension funds. Therefore, they plan to rob the very bank to take back what is rightfully theirs with a little help from a wicked friend who knows everything to make it work out.
As you may know that there are a couple of interesting facts in this film: all of these three actors have won an Oscar before, Morgan Freeman for a role in Million Dollar Baby(2004), Michael Kane in The Cider House Rules(1999), and Alan Arkin in Little Miss Sunshine(2006). Also all of them are over 80 years old...how bloody sprightly these old men are especially in the scene in which three men are chased by the police and trying to find a way after seen shoplifting.
This film was actually a remake of the same title one made in 1979. I actually knew that very recently after seeing the new one at the cinema. Since even the remake was full of jokes that made audiences burst out into laughing there, I really feel like watching the original one, the plot might be much the same though as far as I researched. Anyway it was good and glad to have seen them still acting energetically there.
