A boy named Kibo has one eye lives with his mother who is ill. His father is missing so long time. Every night he mother tells a story of a worrier which is his father and also she remains him that he's not allowed to stay outside at night. Because his grandfather the Moon King wants his one more eye.
Kubo has a magical power that he can manipulate origami when he plays shamisen which is a traditional Japanese stringed instrument.
One night, there was a festival called Bon festival which has a ceremony where family members communicate with deceased loved ones. He tried talk to his father but he didn't get any response. After that night came, the Moon King and his daughters which are Sisters of Kubo's mother started to hunt his one more eye.
The mother protected her son but she died due to a battle. Kubo was in deep grief but he decided to end this chase. He started his journey with two strings for everyone who he loves.
An adventure heartwarming movie. Easy to watch.
