Honestly, accurately encapsulates both the feeling of negativity, the regret and guilt from the past we all deal with in our lives. It really nails that feeling of trying to stay alone to not harm anyone and most importantly yourself and how that way of thinking will only isolate you. A lot of people view this movie as a love story but in actuality, it's more about accepting the situation you are in and with patience, get through it and better yourself. it's easier to give in to the negativity but instead we should try to make things right. It's a beautifully animated movie that tackles that problem really well. although there certainly is some plot conveniences it more than makes up for it with its strong themes.
