As a huge fan of Bradley Cooper, his collaborative performance with THE GAGA was just beautiful and breathtaking. I assumed that the first half of the story was lowkey based on Gaga’s life story. But what I loved the most- was how it casted a spotlight on substance abuse, mental health, suicide, and people surrounding the patients. This issue is way too infamous in today’s Hollywood- from Cory Monteith to Mac Miller to Chester Bennington to Demi Lovato. Bradley Cooper played such a difficult and controversial figure pretty well, and Gaga as a supportive figure was just so heartbreaking and surreal. The title, “A Star is Born”- well, Ally became a star, but so did Jack, in very two different ways...
