•ノーラン監督の過去作品: インターステラーやインセプションよりも、より頭を使わないとうまくついていけない映画であった。久しぶりに再鑑賞を要求する映画に出会えた。ストーリーが進むたびに、科学的な要素を強いモチーフ、テーマとして扱いながら、物語、キャラクターを徐々に発展させ、最後らへんで物語のエンジンをマックスにするという素晴らしい技法は、昔から変わらず見てるたびに驚く。複雑なものだが、その複雑さがこの映画の美を作ってるともいれる。70mmフィルムとIMAXカメラで撮られてるため、IMAXシネマで見ることを是非オススメ。
•Compared to Nolan’s previous works: Interstellar and Inception, Tenet did more damages to my brain and is definitely the first film that requires me to rewatch it for better comprehension in a while. Nonetheless, Nolan’s masterful approach to developing a story and characters, using science to shift it into top gear as a very motif and a theme as the story proceeds, was absolutely mesmerising. And this dauntingness takes us into ineffable beauty of the film. Since it was entirely shot on the combination of 70mm film and IMAX, I strongly recommend you see it in IMAX.
