ヤクザと家族 - yakuza and The Family
The story begins with a young guy who became a Yakuza after his father died from using a stimulant drug.
You can see unique Yakuza’s duty, humanity and the loyalty to their family. Moreover, this movie also describes well the Japanese yakuza’s transition from 1990 to 2019 like their difficulties to survive as the rules or laws changed.
It’s just my opinion, but Japanese yakuza used to play a role in maintaining public order to some degree because they were said to have countered some problems that the police couldn’t.
