•以前の黒沢清監督の映画 (例: CURE,トウキョウソナタ, クリーピーなど) とは違く、あまり最初から迫力があるものではない。真ん中あたりからやっと徐々に面白さが出てきて、それまではゆっくり進み少し退屈気味。もう少し黒沢清節を入れて全体をスリリングにできたのではないかと思う。全体的にいうと悪くはないが、こういった映画は彼にはマッチしてないのであろう。
•Unlike Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s previous films such as CURE, Tokyo Sonata, and Creepy, the film (as an absolute romance drama) has very few elements to spice up the story, therefore quite slow-burning till the end of the 2nd act and a bit boring sometimes. The first hour of the film could’ve been more thrilling with his film style rather than just dialogue-driven. I should say this kinda film was not really for him to make after all. Nonetheless, it was an okay movie.
