We were born alone and die alone. It doesn't mean you're literally alone. Of course there was absolutely someone when we were born and might be someone when we die.
Talking about feelings, or spirits.
Wishing to live doesn't really let you live. Wishing to die also doesn't let you die unless you do something for it.
We never know what's gonna happen even tomorrow, even a second later.
