The novel was amazing, and this show was great too. It just kept me crying a whole time.
I understand Mariannes’s inability to beg for love from people she cares, Connell’s fear of being left and inability to express his feelings in words.
The only thing that bothered me was a lack of background details on Marianne’s parents and brother. That’s why it was kinda hard to understand why she always runs way from Connell and her masochistic desires. I guess I should read the novel one more time tho.
