とてもよかった〜
クラスの生徒からも学校の先生たちからも嫌われている高校教師Paul。
嫌われているというか愛情を持って接してられてないというか。
信念が強すぎてそこが伝わらずにウザさ極めちゃってるからね。
そんな先生が、クリスマスホリデーにお家に帰れない子どもたちと校舎で過ごす。
なんかThe Breakfast Clubっぽいなって思ってたら早々とAngus以外の生徒は退場しちゃってえらく寂しいクリスマスに。
もちろんアイスブレイクして揉めて分かりあって仲良くなるんだけど、何がいいってお互いに変わったわけではないところ。
“You said you washed your hands of me.
-No, I meant it metaphorically!
-Of course you meant it metaphorically.
What were you going to do, actually go and wash your hands?”
この掛け合い好き。仲良しじゃんもう。
それぞれ見られてなかった部分を見られるようになるから関係性が良くなるのいいなあ。
どちらかが変わったから仲良くなれたってするのは簡単だけど、実際問題そうはいかないもの。
相手を変えるのではなく自分の見方を変えられたら世界はぐっと広くなる。
あと自分自身を知ること。
