授業で英語で書いたの和訳するのだるいからそのまま貼る、多分変な英語いっぱい
Shaun of the Dead is such a funny zombie movie. My image of zombie movie is scary and sad story. Every movie I've seen emphasizes the zombie virus as a terrifying, infectious disease that robs people of their happiness. So this movie made me change my mind. And I have three reasons to explain why zombies are popular theme of movie.
First, for example, the series of The walking dead is the typical example. My mother and me were so addicted to this series. There are a lot of human drama. Characters are always cooperate with each other. And hurt each other. The same goes for the Korean movie “Shinkansen” too.
Second, Shaun of the Dead is too without exception. I think this movie’s main theme is “friendship”. Shaun and Ed are real friends. Even if they are alive or dead. This is the most emotional part of this movie.
Third, every people needs stimulation, panic movies can take stimulation easily.
For these reasons, I think zombie movies has a lot of human drama. Not just friendship. Someone loves each other and someone hate each other. And it can take stimulation easily. This is because zombies are such a popular theme of movies.
I really love this movie. I think this movie has two points to attention.
First, the relationship of Shaun and Philip. Shaun really hates Philip at the first time. Philip came to his job place and get angry to him. Not only this, Philip is always angry to him. But, in the end, Philip said Shaun that he just want to be Shaun who doesn’t have real father‘s role model. This sense makes me cry.
Second, a friendship of Shaun and Ed. Ed looks bad friend at first. His roommate and his girlfriend said that Ed is obstacle. Because Ed always stick to him. Even if date or the time of home. But, in the Ed’s end, Ed chooses Shaun’s future and said sorry and thanks to Shaun. This scene makes me cry again. And at the end of the movie, Shaun spends a time with the Dead Ed. I think this is real friendship. Real friends can’t leave each other.
Almost all of this movie’s part are comical. But truly there are a lot of emotional relationships.
And I really like Edger Wright’s movie “Baby driver”. So I want to watch his movie more and more.
