The movie describes a Malay family, from before the 2nd World War to today...it reminded me a Korean movie "Ode to my father." Based on a true story, the movie was so realistic. As a japanese, the scene which Japanese soldiers treat Malaysian people in such a violent way was painful to watch.
The ending was sorrowful, making me sad but this movie is worth to watch.
