Colour Out of Space - Movie Review
•[日本語] リチャードスタンリー監督による美しく異様な映画。特にニコラスケイジのいかれた演技が、ストーリーにとんでもないほどの不気味さを注入している。映像内に広がるカラフルな光と現場で起きていることのコントラストが激しすぎて、さらに気持ち悪い。同時に、感性をめちゃくちゃにされる。
良い映画だが、すこしスロー気味。
•[ENG] A visually wonderful but kinda spooky film by Richard Stanley (his Hollywood comeback) and starring Nicolas Cage. His performance hasn’t changed at all since we first saw him going nuts on screen. His extremely committed performance especially after things go wrong put the profound amount of eeriness to the story. However, the colours lighting all over the screen makes a contrast to what’s happening. We get trapped in a very strange atmosphere that complicates our emotions.
Good but kinda slow burn at some point.
